In a word, Kay is vivacious. She's feisty and spunky, and doesn't let anyone else stand in the way of her dreams. She's very set in her ways and has a specific set of beliefs that she will defend to the death. She has learned to, for the most part, stay out of the negative public eye, but will occasionally be photographed partying or drinking with her friends. She's a big fan of alcohol but can hold her liquor very well so she tends not to do anything stupid while intoxicated. Kaylee takes a long time to warm up to. She's met so many fakes during the course of her life that she's very picky about who she associates with. But once you're her friend, she is a total sweetheart. The face she wears in public is very similar, actually, to her personality with her friends. She never felt the need to change her personality when she was with different people, just like her reluctance to change her appearance. What you see is what you get. However with her friends, she loosens up just a teeny bit. Cracks more jokes, becomes more willing to jump up on stage and sing some karaoke...with her job, she finds it very difficult to find time to relax, especially because she's so driven, so when she does have time to chill out, she makes the most of it. She's a risk taker, and isn't afraid to rock the boat, but she had traditional values when it comes to horses and always puts the animal first. She is a great trainer.

Kaylee and Molly are the only two children from a very well-off family, the Parkers. Gordon Parker is a veterinarian, and his wife Linda is a horse masseuse. Needless to say, the two girls grew up around horses since the day they were born. Kaylee is two years older than her sister, and she was thrust into the horse world as soon as she could walk. By age 5 she was winning ribbons at local shows on her tiny blue roan pony Sheba, and by age 9 she was showing rated with her little blonde pigtails flapping out from underneath her helmet as she and Sheba flew around courses of crossrails. Kaylee took to riding very naturally with her tall physique, long legs and great instruction. By the time she was a teenager she was winning A rated classes at Devon on a new large pony that her parents just bought. Money wasn't an object, so she got to do whatever she wanted. Despite her great success at horse shows, Kaylee did decently in school and managed to pull out a 92 average when she graduated high school. After graduation, she went to the University of Findlay in Ohio, and majored in Equine Studies & Management. She needed a break from her showing, although she did ride on the Intercollegiate team during college so it ended up not being all too much of a break. But still, she loves it so it didn't matter all too much. After college she came back to Wellington and started a farm with her younger sister Molly. They wanted to give everyone else the chance that they had growing up to enjoy riding and showing horses at the most competitive levels. Once opening up Coventry Hills (with almost all of the money for the farm coming from their lovely, very rich parents), Kaylee stopped showing as much and instead focused on managing the barn and training horses. She buys a lot of off-the-track Thoroughbreds from local racetracks and retrains them, then sells them again. Right now Kaylee still has one horse, her pride and joy Bay. SHe competes on him from time to time (mostly in the summer), but mainly she focuses on training horses and teaching students, and managing her barn.

``HISTORY Princeton, also known as Bay around the barn, is currently one of two horses that Kaylee Parker owns and shows. She imported him from Europe when he was 2 and he was raised at Coventry Hills. He is the first horse that she trained from such a young age and didn't sell! He was intended as a resale project but Kaylee fell in love with the gelding's loveable personality and quirky ride. He's friendly and goofy and still a little green, but he can certainly pull it out in the green hunter divisions. He's a big boy and he has a huge stride, but he can still get around an indoor ring comfortably. The pair always rack up the ribbons when they show, which is less often in the winter and almost every weekend in the summer.
